Monthly Favourites: June

Its July already can you believe it? Although honestly with our British weather you wouldn’t even realise its summer. With a new months leaves last months beauty favourites however, so here are the products I have reaching for the most for the month of June!

Clarins Beauty Flash Balm

The first product in my beauty favourites this month is the Clarins Beauty Flash Balm. I have had this in my collection for quite a while but never really reached for it until this month, but now I realise why it is such  a cult favourite. It’s a 20 year old best seller, how did I leave it for so long before using it! The beauty flash balm brightens and tightens the skin, is hydrating and has active anti ageing ingredients.

The formula includes olive extract and witch hazel which tightens while the Bisabolol softens, and the Algae extract revitalises. I have been using this almost like a primer, under my foundation, or on the days when I  opt for no base to brighten up my complexion.

Mac Satin Lipstick in Brave

Without a doubt this is my go-to favourite lipstick. Brave is a deep pinky nude, think the ‘Kylie Jenner Lip’ but with more of a hint of pink. It is a satin, my favourite of the Mac finishes as it matte but still creamy and comfortable to wear. I pair this with Mac’s Soar lipliner as they are very similar and compliment each other perfectly.

Dirty Works 8 in 1 Miracle Serum

Earlier on this month I was strolling through Sainsburys when I came across the brand Dirty Works. It actually caught my eye as the packaging instantly reminded me of Soap and Glory. I decided to pick up the 8-in 1 Miracle serum on a whim really, but for £8 I thought why not. Believe it or not I actually really love this serum as it leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft and smooth in texture.  I love finding products that turn out to surprise you, and this has done just that. Plus the packaging is beaut. The Miracle Serum promises to smooth wrinkles with Vitamin E, improve the texture of your complexion, deeply hydrate and stimulate collagen production. I have been using this every morning and i can definitely see if a difference in the texture of my skin. I am almost out of it so will repurchasing very soon.

Mac Long Wear Paint Pot in Bare Study

Recently I have been opting for those warm shimmery browns and champagnes on the lids and so with that I have re fallen in love with Macs Paint Pot in Bare Study. The Mac Paint Pots are perfect to use as a base for your shadows, or used by itself. I have been using Bare Study, a champagne beige, a lot recently as a base for my shadows as it is long-wearing, pigmented even by itself and dries to a vibrant, pearlized finish.

Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Shimmering Body Spray Oil

If there was one product I could pick that reminds me of beaches, a summer breeze and warm holidays away it would be this. It smells absolutely incredible. On the days where the sun does make a bit of an appearance, I have been using this to give my skin a sun kissed sheen with subtle shimmer, whilst also leaving that Bronze Goddess fragrance. It overall gives your skin that JLo healthy glow that looks beautiful, especially on the high points of your shoulders and your décolletage. I love the fragrance so much I now have my eye on the original fragrance!

Until next time, Em x
