Collective Mini Beauty Haul

With pay day just gone (and the next could quite happily come sooner), I decided to treat myself to a couple of items I have had my eye on for a little while. Although this is a mini collective haul, the majority of the products were bought in the beauty aisles at M&S, a place I had never actually gone to for beauty products! As I headed their to pick up the Pixi Glow Tonic, I was actually pleasantly surprised to see so many other brands that I wasn’t expecting, so I will definitely have a wonder around their more often. Anyway, here is my mini pay day beauty haul, enjoy.

Pixi – Glow Tonic

For the last few weeks I have been reading up reviews on this and after a couple of conversations with the lovely girls on twitter, I finally decided to purchase it since the feedback on this toner is outstanding. Rather than order it online I went to my local M&S and purchased the 100ml bottle which was £10. The Pixi Glow Tonic is a best selling and blogger cult favourite exfoliating toner that promises to smooth the skins tone and texture whilst leaving a healthy glow to your complexion. What drew my to it was that it contains aloe vera, ginseng and botanical extracts as well as 5% glycol acid which accelerates cell renewal. I will test this out for the next coming weeks so expect a review shortly!

Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Patina

Why has no one told me that M&S sells Stila! As soon as I saw they had the All Day Liquid Lipsticks, £16 and swatched Patina, I knew there was no way I was going to go home without it! Patina is a beautiful dusty mauve with rosy undertones. It reminds me of a slightly darker, more matte version of Mac’s Brave which I pretty much wear on a daily basis. On initial swatch Patina is very creamy, completely opaque and dries to matte fairly quickly. It is enriched with vitamin e and avocado oil too so it ensures it doesn’t feel drying on the lips. Very excited to see the lasting power of this throughout the day on the lips, and if I am a fan I definitely will be looking at some of the other shades in the range!

Stila Eyeshadow in Kitten

How do I not have this in my collection?! Kitten is one of the cult shades that everybody in the beauty community was raving about a couple of years ago and is an iconic shade for Stila. It is a warm toned, peachy champagne shade that has that beautiful buttery constancy we all love in shadows and retails for £12. It reminds me a lot of Mac’s Naked Lunch for comparison, and is a great eye opening shade to place on the lid and inner corner!

Murad AHA / BHA Exfoliating Cleanser

Recently my skin is starting to feel more dry than usual, with dry patches starting to make an appearance again (eye roll). I purchased the 30ml, a smaller size to see if my skin will get on well with it. The Murad AHA / BHA Exfoliating Cleanser, which full size retails at £34, promises to cleanse and smooth the skins texture, polish and retexture your skin cells and soften the skin. I feel like now more than anything my skin needs a good exfoliating cleanser that will rid any dead skin cells that seem to not want to leave, so I am hoping I will like this!

NUXE Huile Prodigieuse Multi Usage Dry Oil

This NUXE Huile Prodigieuse is a multi use dry oil that you can use for your face, body and hair and even in your bath! I love using oils to really hydrate the skin as well as in the hair for a glossy finish, and to have a product that can do all of that meant this really caught my eye – plus I have heard great things about it in the blogging community! The dry oil formula combines 30% plant oils and vitamin E and it containing 6  plant oils in total: borage, St Johnswort, sweet almond, camellia, hazelnut, macadamia. It also smells amazing!

What have you had your eye on recently?
