Tom Ford Colour Quad in Nude Dip

To me, everything about Tom Ford beauty appears, looks and feels beautifully luxurious, and the Tom Ford Colour Quad in Nude Dip is no objection. Of course with Tom Ford comes a fairly high price tag, this palette in particular totalling to £64, however I think they can be a perfect gift for a loved one or just simply one to splurge on when you want to treat yourself!

I currently own the Tom Ford Colour Quad in Nude Dip, a beautiful palette that contains four neutral shades. The Colour Quad line offers an array of shade combinations, but as I am a neutral girl at heart I  played it safe and went with Nude Dip! Each eye colour quad within the line is designed to include four complementing shades that will allow you to achieve multiple looks. and are formulated with advanced colour processes. Each palette also includes four luxurious finishes, which include a sheer sparkle, a satin, a shimmer and matte. Formulated with advanced colour processes, each shade offers a opacity and dimension.

To begin with the packaging, it is of course unsurprisingly beautiful. It s a nice, travel friendly size with a large mirror and it does come with two small applicators. The gold accents make the palette feel very luxurious, and looks beautiful sitting on my vanity!

Now of course onto the shades. Nude Dip contains four shimmery pearlised neutrals, with a soft champagne, a medium rosey peach, a soft taupe grey and a medium brown, all which are slightly on the cool side. What I love about the palette is that it is both day time and night time appropriate. The texture of each shadow applies smoothly, and they layer over each other and blend easily. The shimmery shades finish more so as a metallic rather than fine glitter, which stays away from a frosty palette and makes very versatile and wearable.

If were just talking the combination of shades, I would say they are fairly dupable, however it is the finish that makes this palette different. Each shade is multi-dimensional, containing a number of pearlised pigments, so when applied on the lid it can pull fairly cool in some lights and slightly warm in others.

I absolutely adore this palette. Although it has a high price tag, you definitely receive a product that has beautiful packaging and good quality shadows. The shades are dupable though, and although they may not have that multi-dimensional finish I wouldn’t say this is a must have palette. You could find something very similar for a much more affordable price. It is beautiful but not unique, however it will give you the opportunity to create many day to night looks and of course will look very pretty on your vanity!

What are your thoughts? Have you tried any Tom Ford beauty products before?
