Look Incredible Subscription Box: May

Focusing predominantly on cosmetics and nails (which is a nice change from other boxes that mainly focus on skincare) the Look Incredible box gives you the perfect opportunity to try out a variety of products from big named brands - without the high price tag!

This will be my third beauty box from Look Incredible, and I have to say I am always impressed with the products they deliver. So to recap, the Look Incredible beauty box promises to deliver five lust worthy full sized products right to your door each month for just £18.99.

The box is slightly more expensive than some of the others on the market, however where as others such as Birchbox and Glossybox provide samples or travel sized products, the five full sized products for me makes it definitely worth it! I have a review up on the April box, which you can take a look at here to get a vibe of the sort of products and brands  Look Incredible collaborate with!

So lets get on with this months box. The May Box includes five full sized products with a worth of £86, featuring beauty products from the likes of  Mac, Bareminerals, Bella Pierre, Korres and Claire's Accessories.

From three shades available, I received the shade 'Hopelessly devoted', which is a beautiful cool toned fuchsia pink with blue undertones and a glossy finish. It is semi sheer but still has a great pigmentation. The pencil is in the similar form of a chubby stick, so no sharpening is needed. This is definitely a summer friendly shade so I am very happy to see this in this months box - and its always a nice surprise to see some MAC in a beauty box!

Made with Talon, this Kabuki brush is perfect for foundation or mineral powder. The brush is 100% cruelty free and made up completely of synthetic fibres. I don't tend to wear powder or mineral cosmetics, and prefer to use a beauty blender for my foundation so I have actually been using this to apply and blend in fake tan on my chest, neck and face! It helps blend the product a lot more seamlessly than a mit leaving an all over natural coverage.

The Koreas Eye primer promises to provide a smooth canvas around the eye area, ensuring crease-proof, long-lasting eyeshadow and concealer wear. IT is enriched with quercetin and oak extracts which help to minimise the appearance of fine line and wrinkles and help to soften the skins texture.

The primer has an apricot undertone which I have found helps to colour correct, so if I am having a day where my dark circles do not want to cooperate as it helps neutralise the area. I have found this definitely increases my eyeshadows pigmentation however under the eyes I find I still do get a little creasing.

The Bareminerals READY Blush is composed of antioxidants and cold-pressed camellia oil, which helps give the formula long-lasting power for up to 8 hours. I received mine in the shade 'The whisper' which is a light nude shade that gives the cheeks a subtle flush without being too overwhelming.

This addition to the box seems a little unusual in comparison to the other cosmetics offered this month, however are a nice addition if you want to experiment with some glitter polishes reader for the festival season. Each polish is £3 each, and the trio came with a silver, gold glitter and a rainbow sparkles polish.

Overall I was happy with this box and was only disappointed in one of the products. Every other box has been phenomenal, so although there was only one product from this month I wasn't too keen on it certainly hasn't put me off the box. I was exceptionally happy to see a touch of Mac & Bare Minerals in the mix!

Until Next Time, Em x
