March Monthly Favourites

Saying goodbye to march feels unreal considering it only feels like it was February yesterday?!

The months are literally flying by, but I am so happy that Spring has arrived and we are beginning to see a fair few more blue skies! As April has now made its appearance, it is time for another monthly favourites. Here are some products that I have really been reaching for – and loving – this month!

This has been a cult classic within the industry for so many years, so how I have only recently added it into my collection I don’t know. This blush has received lots of love from this month as I have found I have been reaching for it most days for my everyday go-to look.

A peachy pink blush with a shimmery silky texture, it gives a beautiful, natural and healthy looking flush to the cheeks. It is also incredibly universal and can go with so many looks, which is why I think I keep reaching for it! I only have the travel-sized product at the moment, so as soon as I hit pan I will definitely be purchasing the full size.

This month I have adored the Barry M Gelly Hi Shine Nail Paint range as they are just so affordable and offer a really pigmented, fairly long lasting coat of polish to your nails. In particular, ‘Rose Hip’ is one I have wearing over and over. A soft, sugary, girly pink, it is the perfect spring time polish.

Typical me, I forgot to photograph this, but I really do still want to include it! I purchased this at Christmas and now I really wished I had picked it up earlier! It gives the most gorgeous, natural dewy finish with a medium coverage and it blends beautifully, especially with a beauty blender. I have very dry skin so this foundation works as a dream to really brighten and even out my complexion. If you have normal to dry skin and want a luminous finish I would really recommend this foundation.

This month I have really been enjoying using the Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Toner within my skincare routine. Not only is my skin very dry (ugh), but my cheeks also tend to show a little redness and sensitivity. This toner has really helped to combative and sooth my skin whilst evening out my complexion as a whole which has been so lovely! I now feel that I can opt for BB creams over foundations on the days I want a natural look as I no longer need to cover up any redness. Would definitely recommend this!

On a day to day basis, I like a scent that is quite light and fruity which is why I think I have been using this to death this month! It has top notes of raspberry, lychee & passion fruit, heart notes of rose and lily, and base notes of amber, vanilla and praline, so it is very wearable and not too overbearing. I have been keeping this in my bag as it just smells so lovely.

Lastly for this month, I knew this had to be in my favourites. The Elemental Herbology Delicate Cleanse Facial Cleanser is a milky facial cleanser that is infused with pure rose damask water, soothing chamomile and Omega 3, 6 and 9. What I love about this as it is a two in one product, great for when I get in after a long day and don’t want to spend ages on a skincare routine. It gently removes my makeup and gently cleanses the skin. Like the toner, I feel this has also helped to reduce my redness and it is very soothing, so I have been use this on the days my skin is feeling a little sensitive.

What products have you been loving this past month?

Until next time, Emma x
