Decléor Micellar Oil Review

In recent months I have been really trying to find the perfect cleanser to fit into my skincare routine. For the past few weeks I have been testing out the Decléor Miceller Oila multi tasking product that works both as a cleanser and removes your make up.

The Decléor Miceller Oil, £25, is a uniquely formulated cleanser that is a world first in miceller technology. What initially intrigued me about this product is that its formulation holds a combination of oil and water which deeply cleanse your skins pores whilst dissolving all traces of makeup and dispersing any impurities and dirt. It contains nutritious sweet almond oil which is rich in essential fatty acids, so it will strengthen and soothe the skin whilst the vegetal squalene, which is derived from olive oil, works to maintain optimal hydration levels, leaving it silky, smooth and supple.

When massaged into the face, the fine oil particles in the formula kick start your microcirculation and boost radiance leaving you with a healthy glow. It is important to note however that this should not to be confused with miceller water. Where as miceller water  remove light weight makeup such as the Garnier Micellar Cleansing WaterDecléor Miceller Oil helps to remove all makeup, including waterproof mascaras and deeply long lasting products.

To use this I tend to take a small amount of the oil (about a 20p coin) into the palm of my hands and massage it into my face. Although it is an oil, it does not feel greasy at all and can actually be quite a relaxing ritual when your wanting to wind down for the day. Once this is all worked in and my make up appears to have dissolved I then add a few drops of water to my hands and work it back into my face. The water actually turns the oil into a milky white emulsion which cleanses  any impurities and dirt!

Now enough with the science talk, here is my verdict! Whilst using this for the past few weeks I have found this cleanser fits perfectly into my skincare routine, as it works to remove all my makeup and cleanse in one step, So when bed is calling, for me, less is better! This is great for those lazy evenings when I want to reduce the amount steps I take in my routine so I can crawl into bed!

After I have used this my skin feels really nourished and refreshed which is exactly what I am looking for with my skin. I think it does also add that really lovely healthy glow which tends to last throughout the night, so you wake up in the morning your complexion is fairly radiant.

Overall, I am really happy with this cleanser and would definitely recommend it if you haven’t tried a product that works like this. You also only need a small amount of product as a little goes a long way, so I think for the price you are really getting a lot for your money.

Have you tried this product before? What were your thoughts?

Until next time, Em x
